Tea room & boutique

The Bed and Breakfast in Brittany

Les Collectionneurs

A place within a place

When the fine weather returns, under the arbour in the rose garden at Château La Ballue, the tea room invites you to take a bucolic break. In this pretty haven of peace and tranquillity, you'll be able to share the simple things in life. You can pick up a rare book in the Château shop and leaf through it under the pergola while enjoying a slice of homemade cake and a cup of Nina's tea.
The shop and tearoom are open from April to mid-November.
A gourmet break in the countryside
Just a stone's throw from the château, the tea room offers you a peaceful, relaxing moment. Designed as a place in its own right, you can relax among the roses and jasmine, enjoy a drink and take a gourmet break at any time of day.

On the drinks front, you'll find a wide choice of refreshments, a selection of exceptional teas and herbal teas, traditional homemade hot chocolate, local preparations made from organic apples and everything else you need for an aperitif.

The à la carte menu offers delicious home-made dishes of the day - savoury tarts and sweet cakes - served in delicate porcelain crockery or to take away by the pool.

The cuisine is simple and generous, with a focus on the quality of organic, local and seasonal produce. In the kitchen, the love and taste of good things are the magic ingredients.
Souvenirs to take away
Adjacent to the tearoom, the small shop offers a wide selection of second-hand antiquarian books and a fine collection of works on gardens and plants. Scented candles, La Française candles and torches, traditional Sajou haberdashery, home-made organic citrus marmalades, homemade jams from the farm next door and other regional specialities, DVD films, books on the history of La Ballue and souvenir postcards complete the Château bookshop's window display.
